After filling out a history form and giving the office staff some pertinent information, you will be taken to an examination room where Dr. Cumiskey will review your medical history and you current condition with you. He will then conduct a thorough examination to include a Chiropractic examination of your spine and related areas. X-rays may or may not be taken depending upon the type of condition or injury you may have. If laboratory testing is required, Dr. Cumiskey will make that recommendation. If the conditions is serious, Dr. Cumiskey may order a CT Scan or MRI of the area to aid in the diagnosis and prognosis of the condition or injury. We have several diagnostic imaging centers that we work with who can provide this service usually in a day or two.

After examining your condition and gathering all the results of your testing, Dr. Cumiskey will recommend a treatment program that is designed to help your condition in the most expedient manner. Most Chiropractic managed conditions require physiotherpy to help with the soft tissue (muscles, tendons, ligaments) that is part of the condition or injury.
